Monica’s “Still Standing” Album Drops Today

Singer, Monica has been in the music business for almost 15 years. Her album Still Standing drops today and the title couldn’t be any more correct, despite her recent break-up with her boyfriend and baby’s father Rocko and despite many of the trials and tribulations that young Monica, she’s only 29, has been through throughout her career, she is still standing and her voice is still beautiful.

Go pick up her album today!! I heard it’s already sold out in some stores which is excellent. When I heard her single, “Everything to Me” I knew she was back in a BIG way! I wish her much success with her sixth album.

Monica is back doing what she does best – singing ballads… On “Everything to Me” she samples one of my favorite songs from my childhood that my Dad used to play all of the time, “Silly” by Deniece Williams… The video for the song dropped last night and she looks absolutely fabulous in it. Chad Johnson a.k.a. Chad OchoCinco of the Cincinnati Bengals plays her leading man, with his delicious chocolate self…

I am SO READY for her album, “Still Standing” to drop! I’ve been a fan of hers since her first album… I’ll always remember, “Just One of them Days” playing on the bus ride to school in like kindergarten or 1st grade… LOL
