“Fantasia For Real” follows American Idol winner, Fantasia Barrino, in her process of recording a brand new album while she supports her family financially… From the previews, most of her family seem like they have their hands out and they are doing nothing but keeping Fantasia down and broke… I already see the similarities between this show and Keyshia Cole’s television show…

Premiering right after, “Let’s Talk About Pep” follows Sandra “Pepa” Denton of the female rap-supergroup Salt & Pepa on her journey to look for love after four years of not getting any. Set in New York City, the Sex and the City style production shows Pepa along with her three friends, Joumana Kidd, Kali “Kittie” Troy, and Jacque Reid, going out on different dates getting to know several men. Being a future Broadcast Journalist myself, I feel that it’s a little bit unsettling that all of these women are successful journalists with no husband… #SIGH I hope I meet somebody, but I digress.
